Michael Wolf is a co-owner of db&w and the developer of various commercial and free plugins for LightWave 3D.
He is also the principal developer of LightWrap++, a open source C+++ wrapper for the LightWave 3D SDK.
He’s been using LightWave 3D since 1992 and has previously co-owned a computer animation studio for 12 years.
Here’s a list of available plug-ins:
- infiniMap – handles massive image textures within LightWave 3D
- exrTrader – a buffer saver for LightWave 3D that was initially designed for layered OpenEXR images that has been extended to other image formats.
- shaderMeister – a global, node based shading override for surface within LightWave 3D. The override is saved with the scene file.
- db&w Tools – a collection of free plug-ins. Usually tools that started out as simple tests or ideas and then just… grew.
Michael is also available to port plugins to OSX UB (exrTrader was the first third party OSX UB plug-in for LightWave 3d).
