OK, I've implemented the basic functionality for using your own nurnies.

If you select a series of nurnies in the background and choose 'Layers' from the panel type drop down, it will randomly distribute those background layers in place of the procedural nurnies.

What sort of controls do you want to see for it? Do you want to mix layers and procedural nurnies? Let me know how you want it to work.

When this is released, it will be a free upgrade to those who have Quadpanels already. There are some other features I want to put in there for you all too.

Very nice james. I hope to dive into that really heavy now that it does our own greeble bits. I have a need to build something almost exactly like your rock wall example for a side project and I think its going to work out awesome because of this!

QuadPanels v1.3 is now ready.

This free upgrade to the nurnie plugin is now capable of using a folder to select custom nurnies from, and fully supports multimeshes (layers) so you can have a single file containing sets of nurnies for convenience. You can still use background layers for custom nurnies, and even use a mix of background layers and nurnies from a folder, and the built in procedurals.

Also sees some bugs fixed, including some Mac specific ones, thanks to my testers for helping me resolve those.

Old thread... 8-)
I've been using quadpanels and I've been running into a problem. The idea of adding a surface that is luminous is very good thinking, but the luminous surface is being assigned to things like pipes, and since I've never heard of such a thing as a luminous pipe... well...

Early reports indicate QuadPanels doesn't work under v11, can anyone else confirm?

I really enjoy the QuadPanels plugin and I'll try to make some time and run it through its paces but between my full time job and current projects, no promises. :; sigh ::

Hey James.
I will try and confirm this tomorrow when I'm back in the office. I may need to get my key again from you since during my global trotting as of late it may have become misplaced.
