Our L3D WebM + WebP Savers for LightWave (regularly $9.99) save your renders and previews straight to WebM movies — VP8 or VP9, with a quality setting, right from Render Properties or the preview save menu — and save stills as WebP, with a WebP loader that brings .webp images right back into the Image Editor. They’re small tools we built because we needed them, and for Halloween the bundle is free for Liberty3D subscribers with the subscriber-only code in this week’s email.

One honest note on the WebM side: saving is the star of this release. The included WebM loader is still a work in progress — current LightWave builds don’t offer .webm in the Image Editor’s file list yet, so loading WebM back in doesn’t work for now. Saved .webm files play fine in browsers and standard media players, and the WebP loader works fully. Windows 10/11 x64, LightWave 2024.2 or newer.
