   OK, now I can see the difference. The original, especially the head is a triangulated mess. 🙂

     Yeah it is most certainly not from a bad “translation” coming out of 3DSMax, it was the original artists work as he didn’t know what he was doing.
     You see this evidenced in the start of the video. It’s bad.
