Fracturing without plug-ins or LW11!
SplineGod (Larry Shultz) never ceases to amaze.
Here is a great tutorial series in 3 parts that show you how to bust up a piece of geometry and then use endomoprhs to control its “shattering”. While we very much encourage you to get LightWave 11 (because it rocks!) for those of you who haven’t upgraded yet, Larry gets into some interesting ways and techniques you can use to produce similar effects that you would need Fracture and or Bullet to get if you are not a HardFX expert.
This is a fun, fast tutorial set that is free and super handy because it covers some interesting principles that every LightWave artist should understand.
